TypeGrid is NOT intended to be a component system, or really a design system for software development. But, since it's an underlying design foundation that's intended to apply across software and print, we can't not have some opinions about it.

I recommend looking into ARK and Panda for pre-built components that you can use in your software. You can apply these style guidelines to that system, or MUI, or any other front-end framework.

If you’re going to download this an customize it, you could add a CSS file to the head of this page with overrides only. It might be fun to see if you could customize everything to your liking using only sass variable overrides, instead of changing any CSS selectors directly.
